Toni-Ann Bennett, LMHC
Toni-Ann Bennett is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with adults navigating a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma. She is deeply passionate about guiding her clients toward discovering healing, building practical and effective coping skills, and fostering stronger, more fulfilling connections in their personal and interpersonal lives. Toni-Ann’s goal is to create and maintain a supportive, affirming space where clients feel genuinely heard, deeply understood, and confidently empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
Much of her post-graduate training took place at a community mental health center in Harlem, where she primarily served Black and Brown individuals, gaining valuable experience in culturally responsive care. Since that time, she has continued her dedication to the Harlem community by working with various nonprofit organizations while also refining her therapeutic style through private practice.
Toni-Ann earned her graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Baruch College, alongside a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of Staten Island. Growing up with Caribbean roots, she possesses a profound understanding of the cultural nuances and unique challenges that Caribbean clients often face. This background fuels her commitment to culturally sensitive therapy and helps her create an environment where clients feel truly seen and heard. She is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, strengthen their relationships, and develop a stronger sense of self and well-being.
